Edd Thompson

Edd is a specialist VAT trainer and VAT adviser. He is both a chartered tax adviser and chartered accountant.

Edd was previously Head of Indirect Taxes for Tolley, a leading provider of tax research in the UK. He trained in VAT with a top 10 accountancy practice and returned to the world of VAT following his time at Tolley. He has also been seconded to the in-house VAT function of a large North American head quartered bank. He now runs his own VAT training business.

Edd has taught on both ATT and CTA qualifications and has lectured for professional bodies.

He has written for many of the leading VAT and tax publications including De Voil Indirect Tax Service, Tolley’s Value Added Tax, Tax Journal, Taxation Magazine and Tax Adviser.
