Category: Tax | Date: 20/05/2025 10:00 | Duration: 1hr | Tag: WEBUK2530 | Type: Webinar | Speaker: Carl Bayley
Earlier in the year, we took a look at year end tax planning. But now is a good time to look further ahead and plan for some of the issues coming up over the next few years, in 2026 and beyond. Major changes lie ahead in Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax; there are other changes coming up too, and no doubt there will be more. This session will guide you through some of the issues to consider.
Topics to be covered will include:
• Capital Gains Tax: maximising the vanishing benefit of business asset disposal relief
• Inheritance Tax: planning for the inevitable in an ever-shifting landscape
• Furnished holiday lets: down but not entirely out yet
• Business incorporation: is it still worthwhile, and when?
• Other key deadlines coming up, including pensions and capital allowances
• What else might we see in the years ahead & how can we plan for it?
By attending this session, delegates will be able to advise clients on the major tax issues and deadlines coming up over the next few years and help them plan ahead.
The session will be of benefit to general practitioners, tax advisers, accountancy students, and business owners.
