Course Details

This session will look at the practical aspects of submitting R&D tax relief claims, and the changes that were introduced recently.  Simon Briton will cover the following areas during the session:

  • What to show in a report supporting an R&D tax claim
  • Documents to send to HMRC
  • The new additional information form
  • How tax relief is set off against other liabilities

By attending this session you'll be up to speed on the current requirements for submitting R&D tax claims.  We'll also talk about the proposed changes to the R&D tax legislation that are expected to come into effect in April 2024, so that you can start a proactive conversation with your clients to help support their future claims.

This session will be of interest to tax advisers handling R&D claims on behalf of their clients and is a 'need to know' if you've not submitted claims since the additional information form came in.
