EIS and SEIS essentially provides a “gold stamp” on the company to encourage investors to purchase shares and fund the growth plans. Bhavika Nesbitt

Bhavika leads the Tech team at Wilson Partners, advising entrepreneurial businesses from early stage through to exit. She trained in Deloitte’s corporate tax team as a Chartered Accountant, before specialising in supporting start-ups and scale-ups. Bhavika advises clients across financial reporting, corporation tax, R&D tax credits, investor tax reliefs and EMI option schemes, and has significant experience in restructuring and transactional matters, including investor and exit due diligence. She works closely with technology businesses, providing practical support alongside broader commercial advice to founders as they grow and scale. Her work has been recognised through a number of industry awards, including being named Best Accountant at the EISA Awards 2025, where she was also shortlisted for Best Tax Adviser, finalist for Best Accountant at the RISE Awards, as well as being nominated for Sifted’s Top 100 Women in Tech in Europe and Ignition’s Top 50 Women in Accounting.
