The Employment Rights Bill is the biggest change to employment law for a generation. 28 different areas of law are changing, and this has big implications for all employers. Since the Bill was released in October 2024 there have been several amendments, but we do now have the government’s plan of when it will come into force. The implementation will be in several stages, from when the Bill gets Royal Assent up to the 2027. All employers need to know what is happening when, to ensure that they make the changes needed to their practices to be compliant with the changes in the law.
