Capital taxes remain a fast-moving and important area for advisers, with any changes needing to be carefully considered in relation to the holding, transfer and disposal of assets. With the Budget due to take place on Wednesday 28th October capital taxes are, once again, likely to be at the forefront of government policy. Attendees will have the opportunity to consider the immediate implications of any announcements and how these may influence planning discussions and tax strategy going forward.

It will explore issues to be aware of when supporting clients with succession, asset protection, business and family wealth planning, and the tax implications of significant transactions, policy changes or changes in personal circumstances.

Whether advising individuals, business owners, landowners, trustees or families with more complex affairs, this session will support identification of relevant capital tax issues, promote a clear understanding of how recent changes may affect client advice, and pick up on opportunities for proactive, compliant planning.
